A joint inaugural party on Tuesday, January 20 at 7pm.
Location is 7135 Mistrel Way, Suite 104, Columbia, MD. (This is on Minstrel Way off of Snowden River. The Exxon Gas Station and KFC are are on Minstrel Way).
Friends and supporters of Jon’s campaign for the House of Delegates gathered for the inaugural “Meet Jon” event on January 17. This group included citizens from across the district and county, leaders of civic organizations, and members and donors of the Committee to Elect Jon Weinstein’s. This group is a great example of the continually expanding base of supporters and volunteers, and was made up of people of all political stripes – registered Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. Cary Millstein, Chair of the Committee to Elect Jon Weinstein welcomed the crowd and Jon thanked them for attending and for their early support. Jon went on to talk about the key issues he believes are facing the community and state as well as his reasons for running. “The foundation of our campaign is that District 9A is ready for and deserves responsive and responsible representation in Annapolis,” Jon explained to those gathered. The election is 21 months away and this group is ready for the work ahead!
