    Ken Ulman Endorses Jon

    Ken Ulman Endorses Jon

Over 80 people crammed into Pavilion B at Centennial Park on Sunday, April 26 to show their support for Jon and his candidacy for Delegate. People from all parts of the district and county, representing all political stripes joined County Executive Ken Ulman and Delegate Guy Guzzone, Co-Chair of Howard Delegation to Annapolis, to launch the next phase of the campaign. In their remarks to kick-off the BBQ, the County Executive and Delegate Guzzone enthusiastically endorsed Jon and spoke of the opportunities his leadership will bring to 9A and the positive and practical approach Jon will demonstrate as a Delegate. Jon addressed the gathering, thanking them for their early support and enthusiasm for his candidacy. He committed to the group that as a Delegate…

“I will apply my years of practical experience helping state, federal, and local government organizations improve efficiency and effectiveness. I will apply the leadership skills from my experience as an Army officer, successful business owner, baseball coach and community volunteer to work with other legislators, state and county officials to find real solutions. I will apply the value of respect – respect for differences in opinion, beliefs, and background.”

He concluded his remarks by saying, “As Howard County citizens and 9A residents – Democrats, Republicans, and Independents – we have an opportunity, in fact a responsibility to demand more and get more from our representatives. I look forward to provide responsive and responsible representation for our community in Annapolis.”
